Awesome Gi & Service!

Great gi for training in. I find I don’t get too warm, the gi is lightweight and breathable material whilst still strong enough to take grips. This is a very good gi and I would buy again!

Tried it out for the first time today. All good. Just that I bought the other 2 colours for the same model, so I received 3 belts in total. Would be nice if there's an option to opt out for the belts for future purchases. Thank you.

Good for the price

I want to start off by saying this is a good gi. The quality of craftsmanship is great. Good stitching, good construction. The issues I have with it are known trade offs that occur with the materials used, which is on purpose. So I have the Kikko Kimono with the 450gm jacket in addition to this Alpha kimono. There is about a $50SGD difference in price. On retrospect, I would pay the extra $50 as the weight of the jacket’s material makes a larger difference than I would have imagined. I went with the Alpha as it has a much lighter weight jacket and I thought the weight difference in a warm gym would help (it does a bit). However, the lighter weight cotton also stretches quite a bit, which causes your sleeves to bag out and stretch A LOT. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn’t have made that choice and just would have purchased another Kikko gi. In addition, the pants are made of a lighter rip-stop material as well. Just fyi. This is a good light weight gi.
